We Sell our bulletproof backpacks only to Law-Abiding Adults
A bulletproof backpack is a purely defensive item but, however, we are extremely sensitive to the possibility of backpacks being misused by criminals. By buying a backpack from us, you are certifying that you are law-abiding, of adult age, with no felony convictions.
We will not sell our products to felons or minors.
It is against the law for a person convicted of a ‘crime of violence’ to possess Body Armor under federal law (unless required by your employer, see, Sec. 931). It is also illegal under state law for a convicted felon to own armor in many states.We cooperate with law enforcement to stop the use of bulletproof backpacks by criminals.
If you have any criminal purpose in mind (or resell your backpack to a criminal) you do not want to have bought a bulletproof backpack from us! (Our only exception in our Privacy Commitment is to respond to inquires from law enforcement where a backpack we sold is suspected to have been involved in a crime.)
We reserve the right to refuse to sell to anyone, in our sole discretion. By buying our bulletproof backpack you guarantee that you are not legally prohibited from owning firearms, or body armor, and also that you are not associated with any criminal group, in any way, and have only a lawful purpose for owning body armor.
NO Backpack is 100% Bulletproof
A ‘bulletproof’ backpack will protect you from the vast majority of pistol ballistic threats you are ever likely to face. Please know that the following situations can defeat body armor.:
- rifle rounds
- unusual high velocity pistol ammunition
- pistol ammo fired from a rifle barrel
- armor piercing ammunition
- sharp-edged or pointed instruments (e.g., knives, icepicks, etc.), and/or
- other unusual ammunition or situations…
Also, at some angles projectiles can slide, or deflect off the edges of Armor, or ricochet. Furthermore, projectiles that are successfully stopped by armor will always produce some level of injury, resulting in severe bruising, broken bones, and possibly serious internal injury or even death. Soft body armor defeats most pistol and shotgun projectiles, but NO bulletproof backpack exists that makes you invulnerable to all threats. In short, getting shot always carries some risk.
By buying a bulletproof backpack you assume all risks of use or misuse, and agree not to hold us liable in any way.
We Assume NO LiabilityOther than our Satisfaction Guarantee or Manufacturer’s Warranty, as applicable, we neither assume, nor authorize any person to assume for us any liability in connection with the sale or use of the goods sold, and there are no oral agreements or warranties collateral to or affecting this agreement.
We hereby give notice that any statement made by us in the sale of the goods, shall not create any warranty that the goods shall be fit for any particular purpose. Statements, images or descriptions are informational only, and not made or given as a warranty of the goods in any way. We specifically disavow any other representation, warranty, or liability related to the condition or use of the goods.
We do not cover any consequential damages, and our liability is limited to repairing or replacing defective goods. We are not an insurer, and bear no liability for any use, misuse, or failure to perform.
If any part of these Terms are held to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such shall not affect the validity of any other part of these Terms. Headings are for convenience only, and do not limit or affect these Terms.
